Hamta Circle Trek and Sethan Dome
Often confused with Hamta Pass, Hamta Circle is a different trek which begins from Jagatsukh, explores the Hamta Valley without encountering the massive crowd of people running off for Hamta Pass Trek.
This trek is stunningly beautiful and gives immensely wonderful and panoramic views of Deo Tibba Peak (6001) Meters, Pir Panjal Mountain Ranges, Dhauladhar Ranges, Sethan Dome, Chikka Meadows and Sethan Village. You will be actually walking over the slopes which are considered the finest ski and snowboarding slopes in India.
You will get 360 Degree views of Snow Clad Mountain Ranges on all sides once u reach the top of Sethan Dome.
The maximum altitude of 4200 Meters can be gained during the trek and you will be walking through lush green pine forests and meadows while encountering snow clad peaks and gorging rivers and waterfalls.
It’s an easy trek and can be done from Mid April The trek can be done in 2n/3 days or 4n/5 days.

Itinerary:-
Day 1 – Manali- Jagatsukh and camp at Buggi – 7 kms
We will pick you up from Manali and transport to Jagatsukh, where your trek will begin.
We will cross the wonderful village of Bhanara and famous Naagdevta Temple hjere.
Reach campsite and relax
Day 2- Baggi to Sarotu:- 8 kms
We will start our trek in the morning towards Sarotu.
We will cross several valleys, meadows and forests and finally cross the treeline to reach the meadows of Sarotu.
From here we can observe panaromic views of Manali and Dnauladhar Ranges.
Sarotu is located at 3400 Meters above sea level.
Day 3- Sarotu to Sethan Dome and descent to Kharmandiyari – 10kms
Today can be toughest or most fun day of trek as we attempt to reach the summit of Sethan Dome which is at impressive altitude of 4200 Meters and the 360 degrees panaromic views from above the dome are simply mesmerizing.
From the top you will see Deo Tibba and Indrasan on your right and Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal Mountain Ranges on your left. The slopes are famous Heli Ski and snowboarding and you will see many rivulets and glaciers on way of your climb.
This is the highest point of the trek and from here we will begin our descent to Kharmanyari.
Day 4 – Kharmandiari – to Jobrii/Chikka and camp at Sethan (3000 Meters)
Kharmandiari is a beautiful campsite spread across massive meadows as it offers panaromic views of Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal Mountain Ranges from an impressive altitude of 3000 Meters.
The settlement of shepherds and cattle grazers look like ancient ruins of prehistoric times.
Fom Kharmandiari we will descent to Jobri Nallah, cross the bridge and go for a short hike along side the beautiful campsite of chikka, we will savor the beautiful views and click pictures of the meadows, the gorging hamta river and a massive mastiff towering infront of us inviting us for hamta pass trek, but we will reserve it for some other time and retrace our steps back to reach our beautiful campsite at sethan (2700 Meters) amidst apple orchards for a comfortable stay at the base camp after an ardous trek away from civilization.
Day 5 – Drive Back to Manali
